Accessing Private profiles

I have login into the InstagramApiSharp using my instagram credentials and I'm able to get the media list (InstaApi.UserProcessor.GetUserMediaAsync) of public profiles. But the private profiles that I'm already following on my instagram account are inaccessible.

I'm not understanding this completely.. If I have logged-in using my instagram credentials, shouldn't I be able to access all the private profiles that I'm already following and are accessible on my instagram account?

Your answer is Yes.
Maybe they removed you?! You can check these apps in microsoft store: Winsta or Minista for more tests.
These apps are made with private version of InstagramApiSharp's library.

Thanks for getting back.
I double-checked. The private profiles that I follow and that I'm trying to access, follow me back too. I tried the Winsta (WingoTag) app, and I'm able to access those private profiles in this app and view their photos. But this same behavior is not happening in your API. The private profile and their media feed is inaccessible.

Appreciate any help on this.

You do realize WingoTag is using the private version of InstagramApiSharp? Also v1.7.3[nuget version] has an issue for serialization, and I removed it from nuget.
I just pushed a new commit for GetUserMedia URI, use v1.7.4

Also don't use GetUserMediaAsync/GetUserFollowingAsync/GetUserFollowersAsync, use the one that contains ById, because these function keep calling the GetUserAsync to find userId(pk) of the provided username. if you check the WingoTag you'll see @NGame1 doesn't use them.

So use GetUserMediaByIdAsync/GetUserFollowingByIdAsync/GetUserFollowersByIdAsync instead.
