Hi, thanks for reporting. It's curious that a deprecation warning would fail a build. Could you check your environment variables that you are not explicitly setting -Werror=deprecated-declarations anywhere, such as in CFLAGS? See env | grep -i cflags

In the end I gave up and instead fixed the abandoned Ruby scripts that were failing to run on a more recent version of Ruby.

Anyway, env | grep -i cflags retgurns nothing
