LNG_SPECIALIZATION_CLOSED=twin (default): a specialization bridge does not open a carrier loop (deltasignal specs/068) - #118
Merged
Conversation
… twin, a specialization in-edge does not open a carrier loop The bridge joins two copies of one species, as closed_twin's root-copy supply does. In Release 97 it reopens exactly one loop: PLC-gamma's release of the generic PDGF receptor (R-HSA-186811, 10 free forms), which let PLCG1 set the receptor's level (18 held-out cases broken in specs/067). LNG_SPECIALIZATION_CLOSED(twindefault |off): undertwinthe carrier-loop closedness test infind_poolsignoresspecializationin-edges. A specialization bridge (specs/067) joins two copies of one species, asclosed_twin's root-copy supply does, so it should not open a loop. The edges stay inlogic_network.csv; onlycarrier_loops.csvchanges.In Release 97 this affects exactly one loop: PLC-gamma's release of the generic PDGF receptor (R-HSA-186811, 10 free forms), which specs/067 opened, letting PLCG1 set the receptor's level.
Measured (arm

twin;offrestores the specs/067 behaviour.Tests: 4 new (
tests/test_pools.py: default/off/twin closedness, mode validation, flag registration and fingerprint). Non-DB suite 436 passed;ruff check src/ bin/clean.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
