I'm using my custom set of Ru/En layouts made in Ukelele. LangSwitcher detects only Russian layout. Same happens with popular Birman's typographic layout.
There might be some property missing from those custom layouts – there's known issue with not being able to remove system Eng layout (with known workaroung).
