Summary

Recover locally retained tracking refusals after the shared bridge becomes reachable. Read the authoritative revision before replaying a refusal, preserve the latest explicit choice during overlapping requests, and reconcile a stale acceptance without allowing local refusal state to mask the shared response.

Evidence

  • Shared client regression suite: 25 tests passed, including four retained-refusal and overlapping-choice cases.
  • Docs test suite: 896 tests passed; npm run build:dev passed.
  • Fully intercepted website and actual built /dev/ journey: Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit passed, including shared consent and identity, refusal recovery/reload, privacy fallbacks, and no native identity in docs.
  • Shared client and tests remain byte-identical to the website implementation in fix: recover tracking choices after bridge outages jeremi/registrystack.org#17.

Notes

Tracking remains optional. The local refusal gates pageviews throughout reconciliation, native identity remains isolated from docs, and the existing form fallback is unchanged. No email, scoring, campaign, or immutable released-docset configuration changes. No production form was submitted during verification.
