@mjackson this is great! I was going to suggest today that we remove the script from the Skill and leverage a CLI instead (ofc including directions in the skill to use it). Looks like you're 1 step ahead of me! |

This adds first-party Remix CLI support through the published
@remix-run/clipackage and wires the generatedremixpackage to expose both the user-facingremixexecutable and theremix/cliprogrammatic API.The CLI provides:
remix newfor generating a starter app with a projectAGENTS.mdguideremix doctorfor project health checks and low-risk fixesremix routesfor inspecting the app route treeremix skills install|listfor syncing official Remix skillsremix testfor running the Remix test runner from the CLIremix completionfor shell completion scriptsremix versionfor reporting the active Remix versionNew apps use a caret range of the runtime Remix version so scaffolded projects receive compatible bugfix releases by default. The CLI resolves that runtime version dynamically from Remix package metadata, uses
@remix-run/terminalfor terminal behavior, and keeps command success/error flow consistent across command modules.@remix-run/test/cliexportsrunRemixTest()soremix testcan invoke the test runner programmatically while preserving the target project cwd and returning an exit code. Theremixandremix-testexecutable entry points are thin wrappers that callprocess.exit()with the returned code. The umbrellaremixpackage documentsremix testas the main path, while direct@remix-run/testinstalls still getremix-testas a convenience bin. This also updates generated Remix package wiring, package READMEs, demo scripts, the Remix project-layout skill bootstrap path, and CI/check workflows needed to build, validate, and preview the new package surface.
