CITES permit lifecycle management for collectors and institutions moving protected plant species across international borders
CalyxCompliance is an early-stage prototype aimed at rare plant collectors, botanical gardens, and specialist nurseries who need to track and manage the documentation required to legally import or export CITES-listed species. The concept covers the full paper trail — permits, certificates, and declarations — across the 183 CITES signatory nations. This is a concept in active development and is not yet ready for production use.

The project is currently structured as a single-application prototype focused on data modeling and UI flows for permit tracking. There is no external database or API infrastructure wired up at this stage — the architecture reflects a concept being validated rather than a deployed system.
