A bunch more small edits. Please check I haven't messed anything up. I've uploaded this version to HotCRP.

One detail: in most places the source for SDT is cited as Li2008, but in one place it's Li2004CSCW. I think the former is the paper that mentions SDT, but Li2004CSCW is not cited anywhere else. Should it be?

Thanks, I've had a last read through, and it seems fine. The two Li papers describe the same thing, but Li2008 is a full report with full proofs and details that Li2004CSCW left out. I tried to reference Li2008 over the other one, since that's what I actually implemented from. I would probably change that citation to be consistent with everything else (Sorry I might not be able to get to a laptop in time to do it myself).

I'd rather err on the side of completeness and cite both papers. Maybe you could add a sentence to the appropriate appendix commenting on the relationship between the two papers, e.g. that the 2004 paper presents an earlier version of the 2008 design or whatever? Not urgent though – we can leave the paper as is for the EuroSys submission.
