CDriveCare was designed after reviewing two MIT-licensed open-source projects:
The review informed product decisions such as scan-before-action, categorized results, visible progress, and the value of a read-only large-folder view. CDriveCare does not copy their cleanup or migration implementation. Its rule catalog, path validation, scanner, cleaner, Windows command wrappers, tests, and UI were independently implemented for this project.
The repository does not bundle third-party libraries. It uses APIs provided by .NET Framework and Windows.
