Cor del Món is a conceptual design proposal and creative-research project. Nothing on this site is a built work, an active programme, an offer, or an established partnership with any government, institution, foundation, corporation, individual, or community. Read the entire disclaimer before relying on any content. The summary on every city page links here.
The six cities are not confirmed participants. They are an illustrative, author-recommended starting set chosen for geographic and cultural spread. No city government, and no named authority, ministry, university, foundation, broadcaster, architect, or community, has been approached, contacted, or consulted, and none has agreed to, endorsed, or reviewed anything here. The selection may grow, shrink, or change with local interest, external factors, and regulation. Any real participation would be each city's own decision, under its own statutory review.
Cor del Món is not an organisation or legal entity. There is no foundation, company, board, secretariat, or membership structure. It is an open-source design proposal maintained by a single author (sara-star-quant) with no authority, jurisdiction, funding, or enforcement power. The "Constitution" and "Charter" documents use those words in a poetic, design-fiction sense, not a legal one. Timelines on this site are illustrative offsets from a project/city initialization (Year 0), not calendar dates or a schedule.
Nothing on this site, in any city section, in _shared/cor-constitution.json, in network-constitution.md, in any vocab.js file, or in any linked document, constitutes:
- legal advice

Every number in this proposal (population, fertility, housing counts, monument heights, square metres, costs, residency intakes, milestone years, percentages, foundation budgets, ministry allocations, energy savings, water-positive figures, soundtrack release dates, anniversaries, project timelines) is an order-of-magnitude estimate offered for narrative and creative-research purposes. Numbers will differ materially upon any formal feasibility study, government review, professional engineering analysis, or public consultation.
The website's authors make no representation that any number is current, complete, accurate, or appropriate for any decision. Numbers may have been superseded by official statistics, government plans, or local conditions between authoring and reading.
Where the proposal associates housing, architecture, or design with demographic, fertility, wellbeing, or social outcomes, it makes no causal claim and offers no evidence of such an effect. Any such figure is an illustrative scenario input, not a predicted result the project can deliver.
Government bodies, ministries, departments, corporations, foundations, architects, universities, hospitals, broadcasters, religious institutions, civic associations, cooperatives, and individuals named anywhere on this site are referenced descriptively for context only. References reflect only the project's research about how a real implementation would interact with these entities. They do not reflect:
- any pre-existing relationship, partnership, contract, or affiliation
- any endorsement, approval, or review by the named entity
- any communication, contact, or solicitation initiated with the named entity
- any commitment by the named entity to participate, fund, partner, or otherwise act
- any representation of the named entity's positions, plans, or available resources

This site is not an offer to sell, an offer to buy, or a solicitation of any offer to buy any security, real estate, partnership interest, or any other financial instrument anywhere in the world. No prospectus, private-placement memorandum, or offering document is being distributed. Any cost figures are illustrative project-research estimates, not capital-raise targets.
The project author owns, controls, leases, and has secured no land or sites anywhere; no site mentioned has been acquired, reserved, optioned, or negotiated. If a real Cor del Món project is ever initiated in any city, any financial activity, and any site identification, will be conducted under the laws of the relevant jurisdiction, with the registrations, prospectuses, and disclosures those laws require. No such activity is being conducted today.
The proposal references and uses words from Indigenous and Traditional Custodian languages, including but not limited to Kaurna (Adelaide), Khoekhoegowab (Cape Town area), and Indigenous knowledge frames acknowledged in _shared/cor-visual-identity.md and per-city vocab.js files.
No Traditional Custodian organisation or elder has been consulted on the current content; all Indigenous-language terms are provisional and await community-led review. Indigenous content on this site is preliminary and offered respectfully and provisionally. The project commits to:
- replacing all Indigenous-language content with versions reviewed and authored by the relevant Traditional Custodian organisations and elders before any real-world deployment;
- not asserting, suggesting, or implying that Traditional Custodian organisations have reviewed, endorsed, or contributed to the current content;
- treating any built-form, public-installation, or naming use of Indigenous content as gated on documented Traditional Custodian consent.
For Adelaide / Tarndanyangga, this means Kaurna Yerta Aboriginal Corporation consent under the SA Aboriginal Heritage Act 1988. For Cape Town, this means consent of Khoekhoen and San community organisations recognised by the Department of Cooperative Governance. The project's open invitation is documented at _shared/language-review.md.
All non-English content on this site is a Q3 2026 design proposal generated by the project authors and awaits review by native speakers before any real-world implementation. Where non-English content is presented, the English gloss is the primary intended meaning; the non-English form is a creative-research draft.
Building heights (a uniform 12m, plus a night-time projected heart of light), materials, seismic specifications, base-isolation approaches, curtain-wall systems, jali geometry counts, hempcrete formulations, rammed-earth specifications, and every other architectural or engineering claim are conceptual design references. None has been engineered, peer-reviewed, or approved.
Real construction would require:
- a licensed architect-of-record in each jurisdiction;
- a licensed structural engineer compliant with the applicable code (Eurocode 8, Building Standard Law of Japan, AS 1170.4, NCh433/NCh2745, SANS 10160-4, IS 1893);
- statutory building-permit review;
- where applicable, statutory seismic peer review by an authorised performance-evaluation organisation;
- environmental impact assessment;
- public consultation under each jurisdiction's planning law.
The named reference architects, engineering firms, and review bodies are cited as historical, stylistic, or precedent references. No commission, partnership, or current-project relationship is claimed.
The proposal references UNESCO World Heritage sites (Valparaíso 2003, Jaipur 2019), State Party plans, and World Heritage Committee decisions, including but not limited to the November 2025 Outstanding Universal Value safeguarding concerns flagged for Jaipur.
References to UNESCO are descriptive. The project is not a UNESCO partner, has not been reviewed by UNESCO or by the relevant State Parties, and makes no claim about how UNESCO would view any proposed intervention. Real heritage interventions would proceed only with the relevant State Party and the World Heritage Centre's processes.
The project deliberately sites Hriday Mahal (Jaipur) outside the UNESCO Walled City core buffer; the Hriday Niwas residency operates in the buffer-adjacent heritage corridor, not inside the protected zone. Any haveli stewardship work would defer entirely to the relevant Indian statutory and heritage authorities (such as the ASI and the Walled City Heritage Management Committee), not a Cor del Món-led intervention; no organisation is named as a partner in advance.
City names, country names, place names, government bodies, and indigenous-language terms remain property of their respective owners and communities. References to:
- corporate trademarks (Mitsubishi Estate, Growthpoint Properties, V&A Waterfront, Akashvani, NHK Yokohama, FM Yokohama, ABC Adelaide, Cape Talk, etc.)
- registered foundations (Tata Trusts, Aga Khan Trust for Culture, Oppenheimer Memorial Trust, etc.)

are made under fair-use research, commentary, and editorial principles. The project claims no rights to these marks.
Cultural, literary, and musical references on this site (including but not limited to a poet's hand or words, named songs and recording artists, and traditional or folk repertoire) are illustrative homage offered for creative-research purposes. No reproduction, licensing, synchronization, performance, or endorsement right is claimed, and any real installation would clear the necessary rights and community permissions first.
The brand vocabulary coined by Cor del Món (including but not limited to Cor del Món, El Cor Viu, Llars del Cor, Cor FM, Cor Kids TV, Minatokokoro, Kokoro no Ie, Kokoro Yado, Living Heart Adelaide, Hearts of Home, El Faro del Corazón, Hogares del Corazón, Living Heart Cape Town, Hriday Mahal, Hriday Ghar, Hriday Niwas, and the rolling-wave stage names) is project-original. Use is governed by the licences in LICENSE (PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0) and LICENSE-content.md (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0).
Cost ranges quoted (Andorra USD 10 to 15M, Yokohama USD 200 to 350M, Adelaide USD 80 to 120M, Valparaíso USD 40 to 70M, Cape Town USD 120 to 180M, Jaipur USD 15 to 30M, network total USD 465 to 765M) are rough order-of-magnitude estimates anchored against published comparables. They are not committed budgets, not bids, not contractor estimates, and not commitments of any kind. Real construction budgets would emerge only after international design competitions, detailed engineering, statutory review, and procurement, and would differ materially.
References to funding sources (existing government housing programmes, cultural-ministry capital lines, named foundations, philanthropic vehicles) are descriptive of where funding could plausibly come from in a real implementation. No funding has been raised, applied for, awarded, committed, or accepted.
Every figure, site, partnership, programme, and timeline on this site is subject to revision on:
- government review and the named ministries' actual priorities;
- community feedback from the cities and Traditional Custodian organisations involved;
- professional consultation in each domain;
- independent reality.
Where this proposal conflicts with existing law, regulation, or community will in any city, the existing law, regulation, or community will prevails. The proposal is unilateral and unsolicited; it adjusts to the world, not the other way around.
The website discusses building heights, seismic isolation, water-positive design, and other technical topics. No safety claim made anywhere on this site is verified, certified, or appropriate for design or construction use. Real building safety is the responsibility of licensed professionals working within statutory review in each jurisdiction.
The site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for any particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency, or non-infringement. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and authored by sara-star-quant. The LICENSE and LICENSE-content.md files govern code and content respectively, both on non-commercial terms only. The project does not offer commercial licensing, paid consultancy, design services, partnership for fee, or any other paid arrangement. No funds have been raised, applied for, awarded, committed, or accepted. Any dispute relating to the site's licences is subject to the venue and law specified in those licences. Disputes relating to claimed factual errors or rights of named third parties should first be raised at cor-del-mon [at] protonmail [dot] com for prompt remedy before any other action.
Two contact paths are available:

Use this for corrections, native-speaker reviews, Indigenous community feedback, local-administrative reviews, partnership inquiries, and removal requests. The conversation is public by default, which suits most non-private cases.

The project commits to responding within a reasonable time and to applying confirmed corrections promptly. The project does not offer commercial licensing, paid consultancy, design services, or any other paid arrangement; no commercial inquiries are accepted on either contact channel.
