So I just installed cachyOS about 4 days ago. I got everything working except for my mouse side button remapping.
Keep in mind I am brand new to linux so any suggestions please keep in mind I probably will have no clue what your talking about without an explination. I am 4 days old to linux
The mouse is a Corsair Scimitar SE wireless mouse.
I installed Input-remapper and it does not see a single side button in the app. No matter what I do no buttons register at all.
What I did was new profile, enter that profile, select new, hit record. Any side button I select nothing happens.
The mouse works perfectly fine in the rest of the os and programs without issues everywhere. This leads me to believe this app does not support my mouse, is this correct??
Tying to clarify this as a yes or no so as I don't keep trying to get it to work if it's a no that it's not supported
Please advise, as I want to migrate to linux and get off windows, but as a gamer 99% of the time, side buttons are important and if I can't do profiles then that's a deal breaker.
