Trademark policy

The name Slipstream, the Slipstream logo, and the project's visual identity are not covered by the BSD-3-Clause license that covers this repository's code.

  • You may build, modify, and redistribute the code under the LICENSE terms.
  • If you distribute a modified build, you must rebrand it: change the product name, icons, and install-identity GUIDs (branding/brand.json documents every value that must change).
  • Do not use "Slipstream" or the project logo to name or promote a derived product, and do not imply endorsement by this project.

Likewise, this project does not use the Chrome, Chromium, Google, or Thorium names or logos as its own branding; "Chromium-based" appears only as a factual description. The Thorium and Chromium code this project builds on is used under BSD-3-Clause; neither project endorses Slipstream.
