Step 3 of the modernization: the examples are about programs, so the UI layers go.

Changes

  • games/gacha, games/world-cup: remove the webapps, the TypeScript SDKs (clients/typescript) and the devnet scripts that imported them. The program, the Rust unit/LiteSVM/Light tests, the Codama Rust client and the IDL generator stay. generate-clients.ts renders Rust only; ESLint, kit and the pnpm workspace (with its overrides) go with the TypeScript, so package.json is down to codama, prettier and tsx.
  • Justfiles: build is now build-program build-rust-client, test drops client-test, and the demo/webapp/devnet-script/admin recipes are removed (deploy-devnet stays).
  • tokens/token-2022/nft-meta-data-pointer: remove the Next app and the Unity client.
  • tokens/token-2022/transfer-hook/allow-block-list-token: keep only anchor/; the root Next app, its scripts and the committed IDL go.
  • READMEs, CLAUDE.md files, .prettierignore/.gitignore entries and the nested world-cup webapp-build job are trimmed to match.

Verification

Left to CI: just.yml runs setup, check-generated, build and test for both games, and the anchor workflow covers the two token programs.

AI disclosure

  • No AI tooling was used beyond editor autocomplete.
  • AI tooling was used. Tool and extent: Claude Code made the deletions and doc/justfile trims under maintainer direction.

The examples are about programs, so the UI layers go:

- games/gacha and games/world-cup lose their webapps, their TypeScript
SDKs (clients/typescript) and the devnet scripts built on them. The
program, Rust tests, Codama Rust client and IDL generator stay; the
generator no longer renders a JS client, and ESLint, kit and the pnpm
workspace with its overrides go with the TypeScript.
- tokens/token-2022/nft-meta-data-pointer loses its Next app and Unity
  client.
- tokens/token-2022/transfer-hook/allow-block-list-token keeps only its
Anchor program; the root Next app, its scripts and committed IDL go.

Justfiles, READMEs, CLAUDE.md files and ignore lists are trimmed to match.

[Medium impact] The changes since the previous review appear safe to merge.

Summary

Removes the game frontends and TypeScript SDKs, plus the two token examples’ frontends. The programs, Rust clients, and program tests remain.

  • Gacha and World Cup examples build around their programs and Rust clients.
  • The NFT metadata-pointer example now centers on its Anchor program.
  • The allow-block-list token example now points to its Anchor program.

These findings could not be posted inline.

  • P2 Lockfiles still include deleted apps games/gacha/pinocchio/pnpm-workspace.yaml:3 ▶

Both game lockfiles still contain clients/typescript and webapp entries, including links to the deleted SDKs and thousands of lines of their dependencies. Removing pnpm-workspace.yaml leaves those entries unused, not removed. This adds noise to dependency reviews. Regenerate both pnpm-lock.yaml files for the remaining packages.

Note: If this suggestion doesn't match your team's coding style, reply to this and let me know. I'll remember it for next time!
