I'm a developer working at the intersection of two things I love: Mendix and Gleam. By day I build Mendix widgets; in my own time I build the open-source tooling I wish had existed when I started.

My flagship project is glendix — a Gleam library that talks to React 19 and Mendix Pluggable Widgets. With glendix, you can write real, production-ready Mendix widgets entirely in Gleam, with no JSX in sight. It already ships with:

• 40 React hooks and 154+ event handlers
• 108+ HTML attributes, 85+ HTML tags, 58 SVG elements
• npm bindings, so the entire React ecosystem is reusable
• .mpk packaging support and a Mendix Marketplace downloader
• A one-command scaffolding tool: npx create-mendix-widget-gleam

My mission is twofold:

1. Expand Mendix's open-source ecosystem and make Mendix a better tool for everyone who builds with it.
2. Grow Gleam adoption by proving it can power serious, production-grade work — not just experiments.

Mendix developers deserve a richer open-source ecosystem, and Gleam deserves to be tried by more of them. glendix is where those two goals meet: it gives Mendix developers a safer, more delightful language, and gives Gleam developers a path into enterprise low-code.
