I'm a software developer from the Netherlands. My main project is FerroEHR, an open-source clinical data repository written in Rust. It implements the openEHR specifications (REST API 1.1.0, AQL 1.1) on PostgreSQL 18 and is built for production use in healthcare: audit logging and version signing are enabled by default, releases ship signed binaries with SBOMs, and conformance is verified by a machine-readable test suite on every change.
From the current release, all measured:
- a 65-node composition commits in under 4 ms and reads back in just over 1 ms, with the compliance features enabled
- on the same machine it writes about twice as fast as EHRbase and uses 51 MiB of memory where EHRbase uses 700
- over 1,000 conformance cases pass, the security baseline is met, and the performance class is earned under sustained load
The server, the admin console, the Helm chart, and the eight openehr-* crates on crates.io are all MIT licensed. Documentation is at ferroehr.eu.
I also maintain Trial-Submission-Studio, which converts clinical trial data into FDA-compliant CDISC SDTM formats, along with librechat-prom-exporter and mdbook-termlink, and I contribute to LibreChat.
