Predbat not loading in AppDaemon - GivEnergy + Octopus Cosy setup

Hi,

I'm trying to install Predbat on Home Assistant OS 17.2 with the following setup:

• Home Assistant Green hardware
• Home Assistant OS 17.2 / Core 2026.4.1
• GivEnergy 9.5kWh battery with GivTCP installed and working
• Octopus Cosy tariff
• Solcast installed and working
• AppDaemon v4.5.13 installed

What I did:

• Downloaded predbat.py to /homeassistant/appdaemon/apps/predbat/
• Downloaded apps.yaml (givenergy_givtcp template) to same folder
• Copied apps.yaml to /homeassistant/appdaemon/apps/apps.yaml
• Copied appdaemon.yaml template to /homeassistant/appdaemon/appdaemon.yaml
• Restarted AppDaemon multiple times

Problem:
AppDaemon starts fine but Predbat never appears in the logs dropdown. Only main_log is visible. No predbat entities appear in Home Assistant.

Can anyone help with the correct file structure for this version?

From install.md:

Installing HACS, Appdaemon and then Predbat within Appdaemon has been deprecated, please swap to either the Predbat app or Docker installation methods.
