Unreasonable p/kWh(sic) rates shown in mornings

At random, I appear to have very large rates shown in the rates chart. e.g. At 06:50 this morning a rate of 3013.34 p/kWh... When there is a static rate configured of 19c/kWh. The battery was being grid charged at the time (Which I understand can affect the calculation). However it seems a bit excessive to say the power it consumed was over $30/kWh.

This was raised before and the answer given was that it's down to the way this metric is calculated. A spike of power over a small time period can produce weird results.

Then I confess, I have absolutely no idea what that particular metric is trying to tell me.
