An installer friend of mine says Sigenergy and FoxESS have the lead in terms of products, but both are closed ecosystems like the GivEnergy you are thinking of replacing. In terms of open ecosystems I'd suggest probably either Solax or Luxpower. Both are supported in Predbat, but do have a look at the install documentation for any inverter you consider to see how native the control is in Predbat, and have a look at what issues are open/recently raised to get a feel for compatibility. And if you need a home for your GivEnergy and don't want to run it in parallel you new, I'm sure we can help 😉 |

I have a 5-year old GE system I am thinking of upgrading. I would like to take the temperature of what inverter brands the community thinks offer the best compatibility with Predbat, preferably with control via HA/local WiFi dongle.
It's likely to be Fogstar batteries if I go ahead, so the (hybrid) inverter should ideally be compatible with them.
