  • Fix requires-python range confirmed as >=3.11 (3.11–3.13 classifiers); remove erroneous torch>=2.8.0 direct pin so the package installs on Python 3.11–3.13 and across platforms including Intel Mac. torch is a transitive dependency of llmlingua and no longer needs to be pinned directly by sriti-core.

  • Include sriti/config/*.yaml files in the published wheel via [tool.setuptools.package-data] and MANIFEST.in; fixes FileNotFoundError on startup after pip install sriti-core.
  • Policy loading (sriti/core/cascade/policy.py) now falls back to sane built-in defaults with a warning instead of crashing with an unhandled exception when policy.yaml cannot be opened.
