Some of the tools have problems with (audio) files that contain spaces and/or special characters in their name. For example, opensmile fails with .wav files with spaces in the name and vcm fails if there are parentheses in the name of the .wav/.rttm files (I use a Mac).
I only raise this issue because I couldn't find information in the docs that relates to conventions for file names (and apologies if it is documented and I missed it).
