Two code samples in the docs import names from modules that don't contain them, so copying them raises on import.

  • tutorials/deployment/index.md: from dspy.utils.streaming import streaming_response fails with ModuleNotFoundError. The helper is exported from dspy.streaming (dspy/streaming/__init__.py).
  • api/optimizers/GEPA/GEPA_Advanced.md: from dspy.teleprompt.gepa.gepa_utils import GEPAState, Trajectory fails with ImportError. Both types come from the gepa package, and the ReflectionComponentSelector protocol the page links to imports them from gepa.core.state and gepa.core.adapter, so the sample now does the same.

Verified against the pinned gepa[dspy]==0.1.4:

python -c "from dspy.streaming import streaming_response; from gepa.core.adapter import Trajectory; from gepa.core.state import GEPAState"

runs cleanly; both original lines raise. Docs-only change.

[Low impact] The documentation-only changes correct the import paths without changing runtime implementation. No blocking issues remain.

Summary

Corrects two stale imports in the documentation.

  • The GEPA selector example imports its types from the modules that provide them.
  • The FastAPI streaming example imports its response helper from dspy.streaming.
