[Feature]: Support additional bounded batch probing strategies

Problem

Batch probing currently supports a limited strategy set for larger repository collections.

Expected Behavior

The API exposes at least one justified additional batching strategy with explicit limits and cancellation behavior.

Scope

• Deliver the outcome described above in the owning repository.
• Preserve existing behavior outside this focused scope.
• Record implementation and acceptance evidence in this Issue.

Acceptance Criteria

• Define the user or operational problem solved by the new strategy.
• Bound batch size, concurrency, retry, and timeout behavior.
• Existing batch behavior remains the default unless intentionally changed.
