First, thank you for a really excellent action. I appreciate you! I was wondering if there is a way to pass variables to the commit_message argument. I can't seem to resolve variables such as default environment variable '$GITHUB_RUN_NUMBER'. For example: - name: Commit Build Number
uses: stefanzweifel/git-auto-commit-action@v4
with:
commit_message: Build Number ${GITHUB_RUN_NUMBER}
file_pattern: version.hThanks. Best Regards, |

Hi Steve, This should definitely be possible. Maybe a simple change like the one below works for you? - name: Commit Build Number
uses: stefanzweifel/git-auto-commit-action@v4
with:
commit_message: "Build Number $GITHUB_RUN_NUMBER"
file_pattern: version.hI've also found the following StackOverflow questions/answers that seem to e similar to what you want to achieve:

Hi Steve,

I think this should be solvable by using contexts.
