The licence is plain MIT. It asks nothing of you beyond keeping the copyright notice in the source, and nothing on this page changes that. Ignore all of it and you are still fully within your rights.

We built this for our own clients. Letting your visitors use it costs us nothing, and that link is what makes maintaining it worth doing.
It is also how corrections travel. Credit bureaus move post office boxes and change what they want in the envelope without announcing it, and we find out because someone arrived from that link and told us. A site running a silent copy of this from three years ago is sending people's documents to an address that may not exist any more.
If you would rather not carry a credit, the more useful thing you can do is load the widget from stepuplaw.com rather than copying the file, so your visitors get corrections automatically.
It identifies where the tool came from. It does not mean Kevin D. Klagge, Esq. endorsed or reviewed your product, it does not make us responsible for what your visitors mail, and it creates no attorney-client relationship with you or with anyone who uses it.
