Rendering randomly pauses

Description

Rendering keeps on pausing, this is a 15 second video and a 6 second video. I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

This should not happen, the error clearly indicates a bug rather than a lack of processing power from ur maching, would you mind sharing the video that causes the issue? Perhaps an encoding caveat I missed.

In the meantime, Supermosh should work with "standard" mp4 files, as a temporary workaround you might try converting your videos to h264 with a baseline profile, either via the command line with this

ffmpeg -i buggy_video.mp4 -c:v libx264 -profile baseline working_video.mp4

(you can also run this online) or with the video converter of your choice (davinci, etc)

Hi thanks for the fast response I really appreciate it. Here are the 2 clips I was trying to use. And just to mention, the videos were originally mov files, I thought that was the problem so I converted them to mp4 and they still didn't manage to render (I converted them to h264 and that didn't work either).

I wanted to confirm I have the same issue. I tested a few files and tried converting them to an mp4 baseline file. Tried Chromium and Firefox, both on Linux. On Chromium it freezes, seemingly just as it hits the second segment. On Firefox the render completes, but the video freezes right at the start of the second segment, so it seems to be an issue exactly where the splice happens.
