BlueZ 5.72 sock_io_read broadcasts AcquireNotify payloads to all subscribed device states. Replace sensitive Linux reply delivery with an optional read-v1 transport: new read-only response characteristic, status negotiation, peer-scoped bounded FIFO, offset-safe snapshots and generation cleanup. Preserve existing v1 RX framing/authentication and existing characteristic UUIDs; never fall back to notifications for Linux read-v1 replies. Add fake multi-peer tests and document source evidence, compatibility and physical gates. Build on #723 and target linux-support. Runtime integration follows on this stack.
