(I tried the technique of opening a blank Pull Request preparatory to working on a bug fix. I'm not a fan of force pushing to begin with but this is even worse. Won't do that again) |

For some reason numeric arguments (specifically Quantities) are not being recognized when passed as the argument to a function call. Fixed.
