Quick Start

1. Download

Download FlowState Trading Journal from the official Gumroad product page:

https://finega.gumroad.com/l/flowstate-trading-journal

2. Choose a version

Setup Installer: easiest installation
Portable / OneDir: runs from extracted folder

3. Setup Installer

Download the Setup ZIP if provided
Extract the ZIP
Run FlowState-Trading-Journal-Setup-v1.0.0.exe or the current setup file
Follow the installer
Launch from Desktop shortcut or Start Menu if available

4. Portable / OneDir

Download the Portable ZIP
Extract it first
Open the extracted folder
Run FlowState Trading Journal.exe
Keep the .exe and _internal folder together
Do not move only the .exe
Create a shortcut instead

5. First trade

Select date and market
Enter symbol
Enter entry
Add exit if closed
Add stop/target if planned
Add qty or realised PnL if exact Net PnL is needed
Add emotion, mistake tags, notes
Save Trade

6. Open trade rule

Exit closes a trade.

No Exit + Stop/Target = Open.

7. Data storage

Journal data is stored locally at:

%APPDATA%\FlowState Trading Journal\

8. Backup recommendation

Use backup before large imports or major edits.

9. CSV import note

Closed trade CSV is safest.

Raw spot BUY/SELL fills may work if required fields exist.

Raw futures/derivatives CSV may not be safely supported unless prepared as closed trades.
