thingino-skills

Thingino-specific Copilot skills for firmware development and deployment workflows.

Skills

  • webui-plugin: Create a WebUI plugin that adds pages, navigation items, scripts, and feature flags when an optional package is installed.
  • nfs-dev-deploy: Build pryntu, stage artifacts on NFS, bind-mount them on the camera, and restart services for fast iteration.
  • local-package-overrides: Create and manage Buildroot package source overrides with scripts/manage-package-overrides.sh.
  • prudynt-dev: Develop, debug, and deploy the prudynt streamer on Thingino cameras.
  • rtsp-stress-test: Run reproducible RTSP UDP/TCP stress matrices and collect per-session logs.
  • collect-diagnostics: Gather and share Thingino diagnostics from Web UI, shell, or SD-card trigger.
  • build-and-ota: Use the standard Thingino build + OTA workflow safely for day-to-day firmware updates.
  • add-streamer: Add and correctly plumb a new streamer backend across Kconfig and build wiring.
  • thingino-product-styling: Apply Thingino-consistent visual styling for product pages and camera cards.
  • uboot-patch-workflow: Create and apply follow-up U-Boot patches in thingino-firmware without modifying the large 0001 patch.
  • device-smoke-cycle: Build locally, stage to /opt, run a consumer (e.g. S31raptor) against the staged copy, collect dmesg/logread/logcat, then reboot.
  • worktree-parallel-dev: Run parallel tasks/agents in isolated git worktrees with correct buildroot submodule, patch, and dl-cache setup (scripts/worktree.sh).
  • thingino-blog-publish: Write, verify and publish Markdown articles to the thingino blog over scp (front matter, slugs, drafts, feeds).
  • thingino-blog-review: Review Thingino blog articles with the exacting eye of a salty 70's magazine editor-in-chief. For structural editing, voice policing, and cross-article consistency.
  • thingino-blog-write: Write and edit thingino blog articles in the established voice, structure, and terminology so the blog stays consistent.
  • thingino-dev-persona: Adopt the persona of an old-school embedded hardware engineer when working on Thingino firmware, drivers, kernel, or low-level hardware code. Biases toward minimalism, correctness, and data-driven decisions.
