Night shift report

WHY THIS MATTERS: This run touched only support articles and metadata. Nothing changed in Claude Code, the API, MCP, or the product docs, and nothing was deleted. Two of the edits are real policy or product changes. They are still minor under the rules because they live in support/, but they are noted here for anyone building directory software or tracking safety features. Most of the other ~40 files just picked up re-signed Intercom image URLs.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Anthropic Software Directory policy got stricter (13145358). Software for high-risk use cases (legal, healthcare, insurance, finance) must now have human-in-the-loop safeguards and tell consumers directly that AI is involved. Developers must notify Anthropic of material changes after listing, and those changes may be re-reviewed. Software must not persistently store conversation content to build user profiles. Money-moving software is excluded only when it acts autonomously without human-in-the-loop safeguards. The generative-media exclusion now names video, audio/voice, and non-design image models. Two new exclusions: adult (18+) content, and software that redirects users to evade safeguards.
  • Crisis support now includes a Koko safety plan tool (13171706). Koko is a nonprofit that makes free, anonymous mental health tools. The crisis banner can now offer a digital safety plan next to the ThroughLine helplines, and the FAQ says Koko gets no access to your conversations. Upstream left a draft placeholder on the live page: "available in [placeholder: languages the safety plan supports on the publish date]".
  • Logging out of all sessions (10310342) now says the logout doesn't affect API keys. It also explains how to log out of Claude Code alone by removing its auth token.
  • Everything else is rotating Intercom CDN image signatures plus .metadata.json timestamps.
