Steps to reproduce

When I open the app, it immediately crashes. This started today (2026-4-22).

It very briefly displays the welcome screen prior to the crash, but the crash is almost immediate. Uninstallation/reinstallation and reboots have not helped.

Expected behavior

Obvious.

Actual behavior

Crash with the error, "Unfortunately, Thunderbird has stopped."
