Unable to navigate menus with a controller

Description

I am unable to navigate the menu with a controller. Only thing that works is the Wii U gamepad

Steps to Reproduce

1. Connect a controller
2. Open the application
3. Press the buttons you would usually use to navigate the menu on the gamepad

Expected Behavior

I should have been able to navigate with a controller

Actual Behavior
