[CRSH] Can't update Buds 3 (R530) on Windows / Linux x64 Thinkpad and Apple Silicon M1 mac. Not sure why.

I also tried official Window app on my Thinkpad T14 G1 AMD with R7 4750U, and it doesn't work too. I want to update my Buds to firmware R530XXU0AZD2. Everytime I'm trying to update them I reconnect it with button after blue LED light appears, then I close the case and I'm trying to update it. It just doesn't work.

I am having the same problem (linux build). Moreover, sometimes it does succeed but the version still is unchanged. Actually, I am trying to downgrade.

Just updated using backup A-series Samsung phone and it worked. So that's not problem with Buds either.

ОK, I GOT IT to UpDate on MacOS M1 "26.5.2 (25F84)" arm64. Long Story Short, I decided to change the name of my Samsung Buds2 Pro. For it to take, I deleted them from the Galaxy Buds Manager.app, then from System Settings/Bluetooth.
Immediately in "System Settings/Bluetooth" Paired them "they won't show up in Galaxy Buds Manager.app otherwise". The name change took. In the Galaxy Buds Manager.app, I manually connected "I was rushing, results may differ for you". Checked the settings I had previously set, still the same.
System/Firmware Update: Attempted the latest "R510XXU0AZD1 April 2026, rev1 (Buds2Pro)" But it failed like every other time. Prior to giving up I attempted "R510XXU0AZC4 March 2026, rev4 (Buds2Pro" & it worked! Instead of disconnecting & freezing up. It proceeded to download & was SUCCESSFUL! then I attempted "R510XXU0AZD1 April 2026" again, which was also SUCCESSFUL!

Make sure Galaxy Buds Manager.app is Updated to V 5.2.1.0 "I provided a ScreenShot Below"
To sum it up..
NOTE: I changed the name of my headphones! If it doesn't work, change the name and follow the steps"
Also determine which version is already installed in your headphones! It won't work if you're trying to install when you already have install installed!

1. Delete/UnPair from both "Galaxy Buds Manager.app" & "System Settings/Bluetooth"
2. Pair with "System Settings/Bluetooth" First, Then "Galaxy Buds Manager.app"
3. Go to System/Firmware Updates, Start with "R510XXU0AZC4 March 2026, rev4 (Buds2Pro" first & it should proceed to download & install!
4. Proceed installing the latest version "R510XXU0AZD1 April 2026, rev1 (Buds2Pro)" & installation should work!

I generally Hope this helps! I don't use Samsung, just the headphones that I acquired!

After you installed one, hitting refresh it should disappear from the app! Hence both installed both disappears!
