R package for statistical and spatiotemporal modeling of epidemiological data for vector-borne diseases in Colombia
A CNN-based approach for tick species identification.
Agent-Based model simulation of mosquito-human interaction in the Colombian and LAC setting
A GIS-based machine learning system that predicts dengue risk across Bangladesh using meteorological, environmental, and population data. The project integrates ERA5 weather data, satellite imagery, and district-level dengue surveillance to generate weekly outbreak risk maps and early-warning insights.
Vector borne disease prediction based on patient symptoms using an ensemble of CatBoots, XGBoost and LGBM.
Epidemiological or operational scenarios of persistent dengue transmission in Mexico and the epidemiological situation
Dataset on the evolution of mosquito-borne diseases in Latin America and the Caribbean 2015-2024. Includes data on Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya, and Malaria by country (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela and others), with reported case

VBDs360 (formerly MosquitoDB) is a secure web application supporting data management for diverse entomological studies. Originally developed by the Ifakara Health Institute, it stores, links, and summarises field and laboratory mosquito data. The system and associated tools are freely available to researchers and control programmes.
This is a small mosquito species prediction app. It serves as a deployment shinyapp for my blog post entitled "Mosquito Species Image Classification using the torch R package" and originally posted on April 1st, 2023.
