Automation Script

You can automate whole this process just running this script

Download latest GNU coreutils

• REPLACE **coreutils-9.1.tar.xz** WITH LATEST VERSION FROM https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/coreutils/

wget http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/coreutils/coreutils-9.1.tar.xz

Extract the download archive

tar -xvf coreutils-latest-version.tar.xz

Go to that directory

cd coreutils-latest-version

Download the Advanced Copy patch

**USE LATEST advcpmv FROM HERE https://github.com/jarun/advcpmv**

wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jarun/advcpmv/master/advcpmv-0.9-9.0.patch

Apply the patch

**update the version**

patch -p1 -i advcpmv-0.9-9.0.patch

./configure

make

Move cp and mv patched binaries

sudo cp src/cp /usr/local/bin/cp
sudo cp src/mv /usr/local/bin/mv

Usage

cp -g source destination
