a stupid easy script to do things on linux
this is a passion project made to help my tech-illiterate boyfriend with linux c:
pls help - displays features (shows this list)
pls info - displays information about pls
pls update - updates/upgrades as packages on your system across multiple package managers (pls not included)
pls update self - updates pls
pls install - install programs to your system using multiple package managers
pls remove - remove programs from your system using multiple package managers
more features are soon to come, i promise.
warning: this currently only works for bash based distros!
if you don't know if your system uses bash, look it up pls <3
step 1: open a terminal
step 2: copy the following text:
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/uncreativeCultist/pls/refs/heads/main/setup-pls-bash.sh -O - | sh
step 3. paste the text into the terminal using ctrl + shift + v
step 4. press enter
congrats, pls is now installed on your system!
i used no ai. fuck ai.
