App stuck on loading spinner and settings changes don't save

I have checked the following:

• I have searched existing issues and found nothing related to my issue.

This bug is:

• Making Bruno unusable for me.
• Slowing me down but I'm able to continue working.
• Annoying.
• This feature was working in a previous version but is broken in the current release.

🐞 Describe the bug

After installing Bruno, the app gets stuck on the loading spinner and never finishes loading.

I'm also unable to change any settings. For example, when I try to update the default location, the change doesn't get saved. It just reverts back.

📝 Steps to reproduce

• Install Bruno
• Open the app
• Observe the loading spinner spins indefinitely
• Go to Settings and try changing the default location
• The change is not persisted

Hi @thexeromin, thanks for reporting this issue!

I've tried on my Windows machine, but I wasn't able to reproduce this error and the app loads/works fine when I had tested.

Could you try the following?

• Reinstall Bruno using the latest installer from our website.
• If you have any antivirus or endpoint security software running, temporarily disable it (if permitted) and check whether Bruno launches normally.
• Could you try launching the app from the terminal by running <The-File-Path>\Bruno.exe? This will display logs in the terminal. If the issue occurs again, please share the terminal output with us.

Let us know if the issue persists after trying these steps.
