Consider adding PyPI classifiers for explicitly supported Python versions and perhaps add a badge in README.rst

Currently the package's PyPI classifiers do not contain list of explicitly supported Python versions, which can potentially lead to confusion if for example Python 3.15/16 breaks compatibility or something similar.

If the above proposal is preferable, perhaps a badge like this showing explicitly supported version can also be added to README.rst (like for Gymnasium):

Thanks for the report. I have added them to the pyproject file.
However, Im a bit unsure about the badge, how useful is it? A reason Im asking is that on the version you gave for Gymnasium the badge list 3.10 - 3.13, but the classifiers in their pyproject.toml files lists 3.10 - 3.14. (I can tell its because the latest released version only have up to 3.13, but still doesn't feel perfect wen the readme itself says something and the badge something else)

The reason I find the Python version readme widget useful is because it lets people who depend on your project via PyPI quickly see what Python versions you currently support in about a second in a unified format that many Python projects use instead of looking at release notes, pyproject.toml files, what the pypi actually has in it, etc.

That means that when projects that are doing their annual upgrades to new versions of Python and are starting to see if their dependencies support the newest version of python yet, it turns a 2-5 minute research project for each dependency you check each time you need to check it into a standardized 1 second check.

The widget intentionally shows the latest release on the PyPi version not in main, which to me is what you want because it shows whats available to users via standard installation. It's the same reason why if you have a versioned doc site you want the default page of the doc site to show docs for the last release not main; that's what your users are installing.
