These are mere workarounds discovered through my personal observations that haven't gone through much testing. Your feedback is highly valued! If you're not seeing much improvement, try experimenting with |

These icons looks awesome! But there are some icons that can be adjusted:

New Minecraft Theme
I've added a new, Minecraft-themed1 set of icons to Cord! See the extended showcase here.
Rate Limits
Icons aside, following up on #196, I took some time to look into why Rich Presence has been feeling so sluggish lately. It turns out that Discord no longer queues updates that are sent too quickly (getting your activity "stuck" on the previous one) and has strictened rate limits on updates. I also have a hypothesis that Discord's internal state is somehow getting desynced which may be causing it to drop some updates. See the FAQ below for more info.
To mitigate these issues, I've added an
advanced.discord.syncfeature (enabled by default) to keep your presence up-to-date in several ways. I've also started padding the activity fields with whitespace, hopefully forcing Discord to recognize the update as new data.See the updated FAQ section here for an explanation of Discord's new limitations and how we try to mitigate them in detail.
For now, please make sure cord.nvim is always up-to-date.
Have a good one!
