Why this issue exists
The repository currently has one collaborator and one release-capable maintainer. Its human bus factor is therefore 1. v1.2.3 externalized contribution, triage, security, governance, and release knowledge, but documentation and automation do not substitute for a second person.
Roles we are seeking
- Reviewers who can reproduce issues, validate infrastructure evidence, and review tests/documentation
- A maintainer who can triage and merge reviewed changes
- A second release maintainer who can independently rehearse and verify the release process
Path
- Read
CONTRIBUTING.md, CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md, and GOVERNANCE.md.
- Make substantive contributions or reviews across at least two releases.
- Demonstrate reliable testing, evidence handling, privacy protection, and vendor neutrality.
- Complete a read-only release rehearsal using
docs/maintainer-release-runbook.md.
- Use a public PR to update
MAINTAINERS.md; repository access follows only after that PR merges.
Definition of done
The bus factor may be reported as 2 only when two active humans have repository write/maintain access and both have completed a release rehearsal or real release verification within the previous six months.
Chinese and English participation are both welcome. Please comment with the area you can review—requirements/architecture, server/storage/HCI, network/security, UPS/facilities, SCADA/IT-OT, pricing/RFQ/BOM/TCO, portability, testing, or documentation.
