fix(app-scheduler): show a failed schedule load instead of an empty dialog - #5994
Conversation
…ialog ScheduleDialogPresenter.load() caught every error and left the entry empty. The dialog then showed the form as if nothing were scheduled, so a user could schedule an action that already existed. load() now clears loading and rethrows, as schedule() and cancel() do since #5960. The dialog's formData catches it, shows the error as a warning toast and closes the dialog instead of offering the form. "Nothing scheduled" still resolves with the entry set to null. Use a fallback for empty or missing rejection messages.
For a non-200 response, FetchGraphQLClient throws an object whose message comes from the response JSON. That object can reach this catch with an empty or missing message, so the warning toast can have no useful title. Preserve a non-empty string and use a fallback otherwise.

When loading the existing schedule failed, the schedule dialog opened as if nothing were scheduled, so a user could schedule a duplicate action.
What was wrong
ScheduleDialogPresenter.load()caught every error and leftentryasnull, the same value it uses for "nothing scheduled". The dialog loads the schedule in itsformDatacallback, and then showed the empty form with "Schedule Publish". The user saw no sign of the failure. #5960 fixed the same pattern forschedule()andcancel()and leftload()as it was. What changed
load()clearsloadingand rethrows, likeschedule()andcancel(). When nothing is scheduled it still resolves withentryset tonull, so the two cases stay distinct.IScheduleDialogPresenter.loaddocuments this.useScheduleDialog'sformDatacatches the rejection, shows the message as a warning toast and closes the dialog. Returning the form there would put back the old problem. Rethrowing would leave the dialog spinning, becauseDialogdoesn't handle a rejectedformData.useScheduleDialogis the only caller ofload().Testing
ScheduleDialogPresenter.test.tsgains two tests: a failed load rejects, clearsloadingand leaves no entry; a "nothing scheduled" load resolves with no entry. The failure test fails on the old code. All 6 tests pass, andapp-schedulertypechecks.6.5.0 has the same code. The same fix for 6.5.0 is #5995.
