Webkernel Documentation

Follow the numbers. You will never get lost.

This documentation uses explicit numeric prefixes (00-, 01-, 02- ...) at every level.

  • Top level sections: 01-, 02-, ...
  • Inside sections: 01-, 02- for individual pages

This guarantees order for humans, VitePress, other SSGs, and AI agents.

Recommended Reading Order

  1. 01 - Introduction
Start here. What Webkernel actually is.

  2. 02 - Vision & Intentions
The deeper reasons, goals, and reality behind the project.

  3. 03 - For Enterprises & Institutions
Product-oriented view for companies, governments, and organizations.

  4. 04 - For Developers
    (then 02-, 03-, 04- inside the folder)
How to actually build on Webkernel.
Key fact: Developers create modules (see package types), not full applications from scratch.

  5. 05 - Reference
    (then follow 02-, 03- … 07-)
    Detailed technical documentation.

  6. 06 - Common Errors
Operational failures: bootstrap manifests, misleading view errors, access-control wiring.

Why numbered prefixes?

  • No ambiguity about where to start or what comes next.
  • Perfect for static site generators (VitePress, etc.).
  • Great for AI agents and future tooling.
  • Because this documentation lives inside a Composer package, it can be served directly from a developer panel (with playgrounds, resources, etc.) in the future.

Webkernel is the product of Numerimondes.

This documentation is en devenir (work in progress) and will evolve with the platform.
