Ordinary installation now resolves the official repository's
refs/heads/mainonce and downloads the Bash/Python pair from that immutable commit, so a published tag with stale embedded version metadata cannot block installation.--versionstill resolves only the explicitly requested official release/tag; completion and automatic downgrade checks use the verified content version.Prepares manager 1.1.2, verifies shell/helper version equality without executing candidates, and adds an explicit pre-publication check:
bash tests/bootstrap_versions.sh --release-tag v1.1.2. Existing locks, recovery/schema barriers, atomic pair/launcher publication and rollback remain intact. Telemt baseline and runtime architecture are unchanged.Validation: the real isolated bootstrap reproduces v1.1.1/content 1.1.0 failure on base and passes with this fix. Targeted source, identity, frozen-SHA, actual-version downgrade, launchers, fault-injection and recovery tests pass; Bash/Python syntax, ShellCheck, manifest and documentation checks pass. Full exact-HEAD Actions 37949043347 passed all 10 jobs, including Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 system tests, ARM64 and CI / Required. Regression job passed 208 discovery tests, 40 transaction cases and 9 bootstrap recovery-barrier tests. READY FOR INDEPENDENT AUDIT.
