Description

Bumps the release version to v0.22.0. The last bump was v0.20.0 (#2161); v0.21.0 (#2274) was merged without one, so every file below still said v0.20.0.

  • Makefile: OPERATOR_VERSION
  • crates/cli: aligned crate version, and its entry in crates/Cargo.lock
  • explorer/.env.dev and explorer/.env.example: LATEST_RELEASE
  • Archived Verification Layer docs: the SDK guide tag and the operator guide version
  • Aggregation Mode SDK guide: agg_mode_sdk now points to tag v0.22.0 instead of the testnet branch, and the "not yet part of a tagged release" hint is removed. This only resolves once the v0.22.0 tag exists.

Not changed: infra/ansible/playbooks/aggregator.yaml and batcher.yaml still check out v0.20.0. Bumping them changes which code the Verification Layer deploys run, so I left them out.

After merge

Tag v0.22.0 and publish the GitHub release.

Reviewed: this is a v0.22.0 version bump (Makefile, CLI crate and lockfile, docs, explorer env). I found no security, bug or performance issues.

One thing to check before merging: docs/2_proof_aggregation_layer/guides/4_sdk.md now pins agg_mode_sdk to tag = "v0.22.0". Make sure that tag exists and includes agg_mode_sdk when this merges, or the documented dependency won't resolve.
