Principal Architect & Enterprise Java Consultant | Legacy Modernization · Microservices · Cloud-Readiness 📍 Dubai, UAE / Aydın, Turkey
For 20+ years I've worked inside large-scale enterprise systems — insurance, e-commerce, CDN, telecom — and I still get genuine satisfaction from opening up a system and asking "why does this actually work the way it does?" That question has taken me from re-architecting monoliths into microservices to designing distributed log pipelines processing a terabyte of data a day.
At the core, I'm a problem solver. I'm drawn to math, to engineering detail, to the process of turning something complex into something clear and workable — whether that's untangling a legacy system with a Strangler-pattern migration, or sitting down to learn something new from scratch. Right now that's AWS cloud architecture, on my way to the Solutions Architect Associate certification.
I currently help organizations — mostly through Think & Solve Different Solutions, my Dubai-based consultancy — accelerate their architectural maturity and cloud-readiness. But I care less about titles than about building things that hold up and continuing to learn. These repositories carry the trace of that curiosity.
What I bring to the table:
- 🏗️ Deep expertise in Enterprise Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- 🔄 A proven track record of low-risk legacy-to-microservices migrations
- 📊 Experience with high-volume distributed systems and near-real-time data pipelines
- 🎓 Technical mentoring — helping engineering teams level up, not just ship code
- 🧠 A generalist's instinct for connecting technical decisions to business outcomes
Currently: working toward AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, iSAQB CPSA-F, and PSM I.
